Trip Report

I stopped after three weeks

Marco B.5 min read

It wasn't for me. I am writing this up anyway, because I read every post on this feed before I bought anything and not one of them ended with someone stopping. A feed where nobody quits is not telling you the truth about anything, and I would have liked to read this one three weeks ago.

I bought the Ease Protocol. The description was exactly what I wanted: a month of evenings, an hour before you want to stop thinking. Week one I felt nothing. Week two I felt something, and I did not like it. Not unpleasant exactly, more that the edge I was trying to soften turned out to be an edge I use.

I do my best work in the evening, in that slightly wound state the product is designed to take down. By the second week I was calmer and I was getting less done, and getting less done made me more anxious than the evening ever had. That is not the product failing. That is the product doing what the label says to someone who should have read the label more carefully.

I stopped on day 21 with a week of sachets left. Within three days the evening edge was back and so was the work. I am not going to pretend that is a happy ending, it is just the accurate one. If your tension is load-bearing, this is not the shelf for you, and the honest thing is to say so.
